Gardens
Plants are our speciality and we believe your garden or outdoor space should look good all year round. With this is mind we can create for you a garden which takes into account foliage, form and year round structure. We carefully analyse planting conditions beforehand to ensure that the plants we recommend are best suited to the individual growing conditions of each site.

Generally our domestic garden planting package provides a strong structure of evergreen planting to ensure that your garden looks interesting throughout the year. Then, dependent on your requirements and the amount of time you wish to spend on maintenance, we look at providing interest with bulbs, flowers and foliage according to the seasons of the year. From the windows of the house, the end result is a carefully composed picture of colour and form. On entering the garden you will experience the pleasure of scent, movement and texture.

We select the plants and plant them for you in your new garden. We use a number of quality suppliers who specialise in growing mature and semi-mature specimens and we pride ourselves on hand-picking the biggest and best plants available to give you that ‘finished’ garden look.

We believe in taking the time to improve the soil beforehand with organic conditioners and can add a decorative mulch of your choice- small measures but ones which will ensure the best possible start for your new plants.

Special Requests
Sometimes we are asked to design and install planting to fulfil a very specific brief- such as planting to provide privacy on visually exposed sites or to deter intruders. Rabbit and deer-proof planting is often a requirement for rural properties but increasingly we are being asked to include plants which are edible for humans in our schemes- mini-orchards and areas for growing soft fruit and salads are popular. Often we combine the aesthetic with the practical- blackcurrant bushes within a shrub border for instance, fig trees to cover walls and fences and grapevines across a pergola.
